The syllabus of CSIM is composed of a wide set of courses that capture the interdisciplinary nature and vocation of this master program. The table below summarises the structure of the syllabus.
All courses are worth 5 credits using the new European academic credits measure: ECTS (European Credit Transfer Scheme). The core of the program is formed by courses that have been especially conceived for the CSIM master and some that are shared from other master programs in our department. These courses are composed into the following three groups:

This adds up to 40ECTS. The master research project is worth 20 ECTS, which added to the 40ECTS of the courses makes a total of 60ECTS. |

The syllabus of CSIM is composed of a wide set of courses that capture the interdisciplinary nature and vocation of this master program. The table below summarises the structure of the syllabus.
In addition, the list and description of all the courses of the CSIM master program can be found in the main menu under "Courses per Type".

All courses are worth 5 credits using the new European academic credits measure: ECTS (European Credit Transfer Scheme).
The core of the program is formed by courses that have been especially conceived for the CSIM master. These courses are composed into the following three groups:
- Base Courses: These courses are meant to give a solid base and a transversal view onto Cognitive Systems and Interactive Media.
- Specialization in Design, Scripting and Analysis of CSIMs: please check Specialisations
- Specialization in Cognition, Technology & Integration of CSIMs: please check Specialisations
Therefore you will have to do all the Base Courses and the two courses of one of the two Specializations. This adds up to 40ECTS.
The master project or practicum are worth 20 ECTS and the student will do either one or the other depending on whether the orientation of the master is towards research or professional practice, respectively. These 20ECTS are added to the 40ECTS of the courses making a total of 60ECTS.
